Overview:
We are building a plug-in for online conference systems (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Webex) that gives the speaker live- and post-meeting feedback about their conversational behaviour in the meeting.
General Description:
You will design the architecture of the Nanu platform (web app, mobile app, Zoom plug-in, and backend system). You will work with a team of computational linguists to deploy the models they develop in the production environment. You will also coordinate with them to create a continuous flow of model updating into production. The ideal stack to develop the MVP and future versions would include a cross-platform framework like React. The backend would ideally be deployed in AWS.
Main Activities:
Design, architect, and build performant, reliable, high-quality systems at scale;
Using SOLID principles, the code you write will be, high-quality, clean, testable, evolvable, organized, and easily supported;
Own development end-to-end, including gathering requirements, crafting, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining systems;
Experiment with new technologies and help determine how best to apply them to solve the business problems we face;
Web app development;
Plug-in for Zoom development;
Cloud Services Deployment;
Evaluation, selection and implementation of speech-to-text cloud service or technology;
Integrate with the language modelling team;
Enthusiastic, with a willingness to further improve skills and to create a supportive and positive working environment;
API Implementation;
Capable of writing clear and comprehensive documentation.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Experience with React and Python;
Expertise in the following areas is advantageous but not required:
Expertise in deploying Machine Learning models into production environments.
Experience building Zoom plug-ins.
